Step-by-Step Xodus Flash Tune Guide
DOWNLOAD THE APP
Find and download the POWERlink App to your iPhone or Android mobile device from the Apple or Google Play Store.
PLUG INTO YOUR TRUCK
Connect the POWERlink dongle to your truck’s OBD2 port (on the driver's side dash, down by the pedals).
ENSURE A HEALTHY BATTERY
Connecting a 10 Amp or higher charger to your car's battery is recommended anytime you flash a tune.
KEY ON IGNITION
Turn the vehicle to ignition power only (full power without starting the engine). For push-start vehicles, depress the “Start” button once without your foot on the brake.
COMPLETE REGISTRATION
Launch your POWERlink mobile app and follow the on-screen prompts. We will use this registration data to inform you of important updates and upgrades to your truck's tunes.
FLASH YOUR F13.1 TUNE
For the first time flashing your truck, follow the onscreen prompts to “Purchase” the tune by consuming the license credits included with your Xodus cable. Ensure the truck stays with the ignition ON until prompted to cycle the ignition.
CYCLE THE IGNITION
Once the tune is complete, you will be instructed by the app to start the truck, let it run, and turn it off. This is the final step to complete your tune.
DASH LIGHTS
Some models will have dash lights for ABS, TPMS, and other modules after flashing. That is because the onboard data-bus coms for those were interrupted while flashing. Simply driving the vehicle a few miles will cause them to disappear.
